One of the very few Atomic Bomb tests conducted under water.
In the late 1940’s and 1950’s the US navy wanted to test the effectiveness of underwater Nuclear explosions on ships, so dummy ships were used - old, retired ships.
The tests are world famous, with some unique imagery, aswell as several pop-culture roots;
- For example; Godzilla was inspired by the 1954 explosion which resulted in 23 japanese fishermen being contaminated, the scandal was famous in Japan and it led to the story of Godzilla - where the nuclear radiation awakened and mutated the monster.
- Another example is Spongebob; these tests were conducted at Bikini Atoll, and it is referenced in spongebob as it is set in “bikini bottom” where all the sea creatures are mutated and sentient. also there are several clips from Spongebob which show the exact explosions from Bikini Atoll.

What’s up with Rachel and Emma living with Joey?It’s bad enough that a 32 year-old woman with a presumably—based on wardrobe—high-paying job lives with a roommate, but the fact that she keeps living with him after she has a baby with another man is just plain weird. It’s not even a really great apartment. There’s no bedroom for the baby, and there’s only that one window in the livingroom. Also, are there two microwaves in that kitchen? Come on, Rachel.
